The concept art in silkroad is just way so cool. Theres life in their eyes and expression. An oriental touch. Some great line drawings just dont have the "life" element in it which looks so dead though you can see that the drawing is good. I seen one weapon in silkroad and i realise theres a mistake in the rendering hehe. Nobodys perfect afterall. The bgm is soso, not as radio friendly as what maple is. Some backgrounds are finished up with pastels (yuck thats what im bad at). Markers + color pencils or pen is still my forte. Airbrush so so lar. No i dont draw with pencils. It will give people a bad habit of "able to make mistakes". Thats what my lecturer told me about building confidence. Every stroke of lines show how confident and how good you are.
