Thanks to YH. I got a temp loan of PS2 to finish up my TR:Legend before PS3's TR:Underworld hits stores 18th Nov. TR is either a love or hate game. I love to play brain racking games instead of very linear platformers.
Now on to Forbidden Siren 2. Its the usual paradox kind of plot. Trapped in time loop, cursed island with all the villagers revived into shibitos (corpses in japanese). Not the typical Resident Evil or Silent Hill type of horror survival where if you have ammo, you can survive. Most of the time in Siren, i would be thankful if i can find a wooden bat to defend myself. Wrong planning has caused me countless continues lol. Siren 1 was difficult and i never finish it. 2 is lengthy, slightly easier but i hate Shu Mikami(adult) because he is blind who has to move with sightjacking on which i seldom like to use lol. 3 was on PS3 that i've finished last week, though its short but the experience is good. And last of all as i've mentioned, the plot in the movie "Sairen" has nothing to do with the original games. Basically i don't like the movie's storyline of "it's all the hallucinations from a lady suffering from schizophrenia" except for the cute actress.
My eyes can't stand 3d + 2d with pre rendered water color painting effects anymore which i think all these are nothing refreshing which should have ended back in PS2 instead of refining it in PS3. If done for fighting genre, i'm fine, other than that, no thanks. I begin to question are they designing games "they" like or for the consumers. Would they sit down and play their own created games one day and question themselves "Holy, did i make this?!?" lols. Of course some are great like Dead Space idea of laser guns emitting 3 stripes of laser beams which can be adjusted to vertical or horizontal, which makes ur brain think which position you should use on fat or tall and slim aliens, nice idea but doesn't look aesthetically pretty. Got to love the cam lighting flickering caused by snapped electrical cables' sparks. Too bad i'm not a diehard fan of sci fi horror, furthermore the theme is space. Shall leave it on YH's purchase list lols~ My eyes are settled on Underworld.
