I had been contemplating to get a slim. Because I thought occassional crashing/freezing are normal and it might be HDD bad sectors. That is why few months back I chose to upgrade the HDD to a 320gb. Never did expect a 19month old fat PS3 will get the Yellow/Red light of death. Even though it's not officially declared dead, I can't help but worry that it might just kick the bucket anyday, anytime. With SJ's help, I managed to trade it in for a brand new slim before the fat one up lorry. Working ones can net $200 but dead ones only $80 to $100 so why not trade it in while it's still kicking.
This will be my 2nd and last. I lost confidence in SONY products.
The salesgirl or boss, I don't know...whom they mentioned in forums. I think she is shy instead of unfriendly. I prefer shy ones than noisy and laugh damn loud on bus. Fai and I did encounter one on the bus. Decent looking but she behaves like a... Very turn off, don't you think?
